Daniel Cole is an independent filmmaker based in the DFW area, working as a writer-director, cinematographer, and editor. A lifelong movie enthusiast, he discovered his calling during the Covid lockdowns and has been actively pursuing filmmaking since 2020.

He is the creative force behind several narrative projects, including The Shadow of a King, Truth Bomb, and The Running Portent, serving in multiple roles from writing and directing to cinematography and editing. His work has garnered festival recognition, winning Best Television Director at the 2024 Content Film Festival and Best Television Show at the 2025 Hard Faith Film Festival. His concept for The Hittite also received the Audience Choice Award at the Hard Faith Pitch Fest.

Influenced by directors like Steven Spielberg and Christopher Nolan, his storytelling blends cinematic technique with a faith-based core, aiming to communicate the Gospel of Christ through compelling narratives. He holds an associate degree in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University and is proficient with the Sony FX camera series and Final Cut Pro. His long-term goal is to create three feature films that reflect his creative vision and values.
